Multi media artist, promoter, DJ and producer of electronic music since the early 80s, He has performed Ambient, Techno, and House styles using the various names of Field, Candyman, Alloy, Black Girls Machine, and Jazzdrive and released records through Flying Nun, Helix UK, and Pulse , his own label. A further release is in the pipeline with Dave Angels label Rotation.

Pulse records have released two albums in the techno genre distributed through Tri-star Music, making their recordings available throughout stores in New Zealand.

His promotional activities from late 1995 to mid 1997 brought many of the worlds leading techno artists to NZ. Mike now operates a studio and gallery called The Area, situated in St Kevins Arcade on Auckland's K'Rd (in the basement next to Calibre nightclub), and represents a stable of artists including OB1, graffiti artists Opto (Otis Frizzell), Orphan, comic artist genius Martin F Emond anf Fa'fa fine performer Linda E. Mike continues to produce and remix music and multi media for love and money.
