Nurture was started in 1997, by producer and DJ Simon Flower. Born from a desire to take the unique sounds of NZ's deep minimalist techno underground to the world, Nurture is arguably the first label in NZ to be printing vinyl purely for the international market.

South Exit is a Nurture sub-label designed to distinguish the new House Music coming from NZ.
