Ignite 2001

Held by the British Council, as part of taking representative English culture to the world, the Ignite 2001 festival featured several classes and seminars utilising key figures in the New Zealand Dance music industry and most notably 2 English artists Jim Barron (Crazy Penis) and dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah. Included below are shots from a panel discussion on the New Zealand dance Music Industry and Master Classes on DJing with Jim Barron and Greg Churchill. Later in 2001, Greg Churchill will visit the UK to take further part in festival/seminars there. On the panel were representatives from Virgin/EMI, Kog Transmissions and bFM. Also featured here are workshop pictures from Hexstatic during their visit earlier this year for the Big Chill.
